Fitting a cat flap in a double glazed door!

Never one to shy away from a challenge…

We all love our animals, and we want to make sure that our pets are well cared for when we are out of the house or during the day whilst we’re at work. Genrally for cat owners this will mean fitting a cat flap to allow them to come and go as they please. Cat flaps are easily fitted into traditional timber doors, or into uPVC doors that have a solid bottom panel. However with modern patio and french doors some more consideration is needed…

Our customer moved into her new house she knew that her cat needed an easy way to get in and out… and as her new property had brand new windows and doors already fitted she wanted to see if there was anything that could be done…

We worked out an elegant solution that suited the house, the owner and the pussy cat!
